Guess it will all come down to money now. Don't know if I missed it but they didn't say the actual salary anywhere did they?

Assuming he signs the extension, isn't the key question here, what is the buyout clause? If he has a low buyout, then the contract length doesn't really matter, right. It's all about the buyout.

If I were Llull's agent, I would negotiate the longest extension for my client's security, yet demand a low NBA buyout for my client's flexibility in exchange...that is a win win for my client.

This guy will never hit an NBA court, unless it's pre-season vs. Real Madrid.

6 year extension means nothing, if he wants to go to NBA, he can negotiate his exit. I remember Rubio says he was happy playing in Spain then he started to ride the bench and he wanted out.

    ;)

That must be it! Good luck to him though. He seems like he could be an ideal guard coming off the bench. But if he's having a great time in Real Madrid (and who wouldn't?), then why not stay?

Given his age, can't we pay him up to mid-level money? On a three year, $15 million contract, he might be a nice asset to flip a few months later.

Probably to keep his options open, better declare for the draft after a good season before an injury or unfortunate event happens and you'll never get drafted.
