I confess, I remember telling my friends at the TC that VSpan and Novak will be our second dynamic duo.

One more.. I thought Clyde would make the greatest coach as the Coogs' for the Coogs' bbal team.

    Also, I despised Rudy's isolation-and-let-steve-go-on-vacation trick.

Well sometimes you get what you pay for. Or in the case of Bonzi you don't even get that.

    My confessional:

I thought Scotty Brooks was better than Sam Cassell.

I thought Adrian "Turn on the AC" Caldwell was going to be the next Charles Jones.

I thought Yao would never get more then 9 boards per game.

I thought Tmac was Memac before he came to Houston.

I thought Sam Cassell was not that bad looking, I only realized how wrong I was after he came back as visiting player.

I thought TMAC was a selfish player who did nothing but jack up ill advised shots.

But now that I've had the chance to watch him play....I know none of that is true. YOU RULE TMAC!

WHen we got Scottie. I was so damn excited.

I wonder how He and Steve Francis would have co-existed though.

LOL--this thread brings back ME-MO-RIES--mostly good ones though b/c I made the right call on the decisions BUT...

back in December '99, I was walking through the Galleria when I looked up and saw Air Canada himself, Vince Carter, and a few other players walking towards me...I was composed enough to say, "What's up, VC?" and get a head-nod in return but when his gangly, bench-ridin' cousin said, "Hey, man, you want an autograph?" I told him, "No, thanks, man" and walked away!

Hope he doesn't read this!! :D

I was a moron twice with the Rockets

1st I thought when they hired Rudy as coach it was just a cop out. They avoided all the big name coaches like Riley etc. and just grabbed a cheapy from the assistants sitting on the bench. I still think that's what managment did, but it worked out. Sometimes the sun shines up a dog's ass.

2nd I thought trading for Barkley was fantastic...but looking back, I wish we had kept Cassel and Horry and left that fat ass Barkley alone!

Since then I let management do there thing...they DO know more than me (and you too)

    Good post.

    In regards to his shooting:
I mean what is Tracy shooting? About 3-4% off his average? Well, ****...time to turn it in for the year.

Not the end of the world, and I think think Tracy will bring it back up.
