That sounds sweet. Won't it be a big file though? I certainly get billed for going over my bandwidth limit. Anyway, it's probably better not to talk about it on the BBS (copyright and the such like). I'd appreciate it if you'd email me with details though! What codec would you use for the video?
http://sports.sina.com.cn/k/2003-01-02/1001373823.shtml and http://sports.sina.com.cn/k/2003-01-08/1719376859.shtml The first link talks about YM hitting the rookie wall. The second link mentions that YM has gained 10 pounds and the Rox wants him to gain another 30 pounds. His optimal weight is thus 296+40 ~~ 335 pounds.
I'd be willing to pay for that. That sounds easier and faster than getting a VHS video mailed to you.
But if you are seriously ready to do that, we should probably continue this conversation via e-mail . I just specifically enabled the e-mail button (to send an e-mail to me) for that .
In the second article also mentioned that Yao has to go back to China to play some more games in the summer... What kind of games he has to play? For the national team?
Woo hoo..I can answer that... He has Chinese National Team duties at the Asian Championships in the first week of August. That shouldn't be a factor for his play next season tho.. He will still get roughly 3 and a half to 4 months of rest/practice/weightroom time with the Rockets if he so desires. Or he can go rest and just come into training camp well rested and ready to dominate next year. No sweat... GB and SJC..check ur mail
I have a theory on that. Yao got his FG % up after the LA, Dallas, and SA games right? Those games he scored more points obviously, but he had more shots taken too. My theory is that he's simply not getting enough shots. He's cold most of the game. It's like a pinch hitter in baseball. They do not get many AB's and their average usually suffers. If Yao shoots about 15 shots a game consistently, i think you will see his average go up. You can't blame the team anymore. They are giving him plenty chances, but Yao passes up a lot more than he should IMO.
If you have a powerful PC, install a TV tunner (winTV is OK) on it. Capture the tv and compress to AVI format using halfyuv codec (supposse you have ~ 40GB harddisk space). Then encode to MPG1 for VCD burning, or MPG2 for SVCD burning. Or encode to Divx format to save disk space. You can also record the TV using tape recorder and then capture to PC later, this way is safer, since tape recorder rarely gets problems during recording.
