What a free kick by Jamaica! And practically no celebration afterward? They were serious about winning. I worry about our next matchup. We're both serious about winning, that's for sure.

LOLs. :D I'm cool. I'm cool. This sucks!

It was fixed to have Jamaica vs. USA ;) ... but we will win the next one with better players.

If Corona AT LEAST attempts to stop that beauty of a kick, he won't look like a dummy, literally.

    Congratulations, Jamaica, mon.

Announcers claimed he didn't pick up it's path until it got over the wall and by that time it was too late.

Do people here think Bruce Arena is a good coach?

Guzan is average. There isn't really another choice for the backup at this point. The young goalies have almost no experience internationally.

I think Arena is best suited to truly understand the American player and the talent available to him via the MLS. So far, he's done well to meld the domestic players with the overseas players. He has the international experience and won't be caught off guard with WC preparations. He seems to not outsmart himself with player selections (like Klinsmann leaving Donovan out in '14 or Sampson leaving Harkes out in '98). He's certainly a better tactical coach than Klinsmann (but who isn't?).

There's no way to get that experience unless they are given a proper chance. Hamid did well in his start recently. I'd like to see what the FC Dallas guy has...but it won't be in the Championship Game and it won't be in the next WCQ qualifying games. I think there's ample opportunity to unseat Guzan if we clinch early and in the friendlies that are usually scheduled in the early part of the year. Guzan simply isn't very good and I don't see why any one of Hamid, Horvath, Gonzalez, etc. couldn't beat him out for the #2 spot going into 2018.

Yes. He's only lost 2 games on American soil in like over 60 games. And he was a goalkeeper, so I'm pretty sure he understands what Guzan does well, but he's also smart enough to know Tim is better. Hell, he's 75 and 28 with 27 draws. He knows something.

Being the Gold Cup, I doubt there's going to be much of a crowd anywhere. There just no buzz at all about this game.

Damn... I wanted us to put one on Blake. I hope he's alright, but that blood and the shaking looked really bad for a hand.
