Conan O'Brien's last show tonight

he had Jimmy on 2 days before the last show. All they talked about was how happy Conan was for him. I think the goodbye was more about Conan thanking people.

 

I think it would hav been cool if they had a part where Letterman, Conan, and Fallon appeared together. Kind of the Past, Present, and Future of the Late Show.

 

In the first two minutes of this recent Norm MacDonald clip, MacDonald points out that Leno's forced Carson into premature retirement, out-elbowed Letterman and screwed over O'Brien once more.

I like the uncomfortable laugh of agreement, followed by the quick subject change.

actually i didn't post the link, but there was some clips of robots on Tuesday night and it was in there

 

Yeah it was part of the bears, robots, and abe lincoln montage. robot on toliet had me rollin' because his head falls off and he's trying to save face that he's in a robot costume~~!

 

a lot of great memories, I know Conan will do a great job on the tonight show.

This past Tuesday or last, because this Tuesday was the Joel Goddard montage, the birdwatching thing, and the last Masturbating Bear sketch.

 

Great last show. Too bad they couldn't get U2 instead of that lousy White Stripes performance.

Wish they would've shown that Andy Blitz clip going to India for tech support. Always loved that one. Also, wish they would've shown the clips of the desk-mobile with audience members as passengers. Those were great.

 

Andy Richter is joining the Tonight Show as the announcer and will act in show sketches.
