To a certain extent maybe, but it sure looked like Leno was trying to shut him up the moment he finished the 10th question. If it was pre-arranged then Kimmel probably went further than what was agreed :)

Truly. Correcting biographical mistakes regarding Jimmy Kimmel is a notable skill that this forum needed - no, demanded. Bravo.

Perhaps I have a different idea of what "growing up as a child" means from the rest of y'all, but I doubt it.

Does anybody else think that Ebersol lashing out at Conan might be because of how he called NBC planning on losing 200 million or whatever on the Olympics "hilarious" since Dick is the head of NBC sports?

Honestly, I thought Jay looked a bit uncomfortable during the whole segment. He didn't even get in anything witty or funny to say. He probably expected Kimmel to give him a little ribbing but probably not to the extent Kimmel took it.

It looked to me like Leno bit off more than he could chew. I'm sure he expected a few zingers from Jimmy but he looked genuinely pissed, flustered and uncomfortable when Kimmel went off on him.

I didn't realize this until this whole late night war started but during Leno/Letterman "tonight show" battle Jay Leno actually went back to Dave's show in 1992 and they were seen joking around like they always had. Dave even congratulated Jay and promoted the date he took over multiple times.

I was just wondering what the reason was behind that appearance. I assumed by that point Dave hated Jay. At what point did he turn on him?
