Maybe he turned on the kill switch once Leno brushed off Kimmel's invite to his show.

The statement by Andy Richter was great.

Also, I can't help but laugh at Lettermen take digs at NBC, and along with it Carson Daly. Poor Carson

Agreed. Had Leno agreed to his invite, Kimmel would have played nice, and then grill him when jay gets on his show. Once jay declined, Jimmy realized this was his only shot to roast him to his face.

Just when Conan is slowly getting comfortable with the 11:35 slot, Jay takes it back again..

Hey, maybe the Rockets could sign him and replace Clyde (LOL)

I thought my respect for Leno would never be lower................

Thats what I thought too, when Jay said no, you can seen the change in expression on Kimmel. Great stuff by Jimmy Kimmel

Classic quotes from Kimmel, he didnt hold back at all

    * [Asked by Leno what the best prank he ever pulled was] "The best prank I ever pulled was I told a guy that—five years from now—I'm gonna give you my show. And then when the five years came, I gave it to him, and then I took it back almost instantly."
    * [Asked by Leno if he ever orders anything off of the TV] "Like NBC ordered your show off the TV?"
    * [Asked by Leno what the record is for number of lap dances he's received in one night] "Strippers, I don't like in general. Because you have this phony relationship with them for money, similar to that of when you and Conan were on The Tonight Show together, passing the torch... you know what I'm saying."
    * [Asked by Leno what he hasn't yet hosted, but would like to] "Oh, this is a trick, right? Where you get me to host The Tonight Show and then take it back from me?"
    * [Asked why he came on to do the segment] "Listen, Jay, Conan and I have children—all you have to take care of is cars. I mean, we have lives to lead here. You've got $800 million, for God's sakes—leave our shows alone."

Yea...I'm done with Leno. I'll never watch that chin hugger ever again. The fact that he would go back irks me. In fact, I have no reason to watch NBC any more. I think I'll just program it out of my channels list. I really hope Leno's ratings don't recover and this backfires. It is my belief that, by NBC moving Jay's show to the 10 pm slot in the first place, that this ate into Conan's audience as some of that audience just got their talk show fill with Leno at an earlier time. If Conan would have had a show without Leno preceeding him in the earlier time slot, then I believe his ratings would have been higher and he would have had a chance. NBC didn't give him a fair chance. I look forward to seeing Conan on Fox or somewhere else...hopefully in his same time slot. Fox would have to move TMZ to have Conan on at the same time slot...and based on the number of wankers who like watching dipsh_t commentary while cameras follow celebs on their daily chores...I doubt that will happen.

I believe Leno brought Kimmel on there to show people he can "take a joke." He figures that if he lets this guy thats been roasting him, maybe people won't think hes that bad. Just trying to make himself look better. Dont know if it worked though. By the way, Jimmy actually likes Jay umlike most comics. It may have not been scripted but Jay knew he was gonna get it from Jimmy.

Kimmel apparently grew up idolizing Letterman. He had a "Letterman-themed birthday party" as a child and dressed up like Letterman. He wanted to be just like Dave.

You know that is what Leno was doing. That whole Q & A thing was all pre-arranged. Those were obvious bait questions to rag on Leno. Leno portraying himself as the victim in all this. Unbelievable.

Wow, Kimmel completely scorched Leno on his own show.

    That. Was. Epic.
