Computer Dorks, I need help.

    1. Click- start

    2. Click- run

    3. Type- CMD

    4. Type- ipconfig/release

    5. Type- ipconfig/renew


    Let us know what that does...

    An amplifier increases the signal. I noticed something was wrong in my office because I couldn't connect to the internet and my signal on my tv was poor. They came in and installed an amplifier in my master bedroom closet (where all my cables are split and go to each room) and I haven't had any problems since.

    Maybe the best way to get help with your computer isn't to start your thread "Computer Dorks," but that's just me.

    :)

    Nevermind the fact that your problem has probably already been spread around to many boards where geeks are already postulating about how long it took you to figure out that there is a difference between a CDR and a CDRW. DUH! :D
