oh my lord, is this true?

i need to look up the actual model number to get the specs on this thing.. i hope it is a wall-mount!

*edit: nevermind.. it's a standup, but that's awesome anyway.. it requires an HD decoder to recieve the signals though.. i wonder how much those cost..

OK, i need someone who is HD savvy to clear this up for me.

If I buy that TV from CompUSA.. what is the difference between an "Off-Air" HD reciever and an "Over-The-Air" reciever?

If you have warner cable then the decoder comes with the package when you get the HD channels.

That tv is a good deal, but the trick is you have to buy a stand for it... those thin line stands for LCD/Plasma tvs like that cost a cool 300-500 bucks.. If I could get one cheap that would be sweet.

I guess you have to buy two xbox games to get that xbox deal.

Will the current xbox games work on the new xbox when it comes out?

    49.99.. not bad at all

More than likely. The top selling games (Halo 1/2, GTA, EA sports games, etc) should be playable for sure. Some other games that may not have sold as well may not, although I think Microsoft has been working harder recently to make virtually every game compatible.

No promises, but I wouldn't be too worried about it.

    rc cola..

Thanks. Yeah, you are probably right.. and it wouldn't be a huge deal if they don't play since I probably wouldn't be a huge number of games anyways right now.

that deal is really tempting.. especially since it is instant savings and all

I bought a brand new Compaq from Compusa during their last Midnight madness.

And the damn thing didn't work. I am stuck now, with out that computer. They have it in their "technical service center", where it's been for 2 weeks.

The problem was it would freez when I put in my pci wireless card (which worked in 3 other machines in my hosue, and also froze when I put in a VC in the AGP slot. I think there is a major problem with the mother board.

Anyways, Ill never buy a compaq , and probably never from compusa again. I tried to just exchange it since it was brand new...but no can do!!!

So now they have the pc, and are "working on it" and also have a VC of mine and my wireless card so they can test it out for themselves. BS!

    I want my money back.

    Uprising,

I bought one too last time. took that byatch home, first thing i see when i load: Error, your system fan has failed, blah blah blah. i took it back the next day. they ordered new parts for it and it still didn't work. they finally just exchanged a brand new one for me. took'em two weeks to do it. i'm on it now, trying to make sure everything on this thing works.

Yeah, I'm going to take a trip to the store on Monday when I'm back in town to let them know how I feel.

If it's not fixed yet, I'm going to demand an exchange.

All right, I'll just go and try to get that Xbox deal. My ps2 for some reason won't play God of War 3-4 hours into the game, so I'm pretty pissed right now.

I wonder how earlier than the 6pm start time of the Xbox sale I have to be to get my hands on one.

That's an insane deal for the XBOX.

Anyways, I'm going to buy me some more DVD-R's.

I bought a 25 pack of TDK from Best Buy and they worked great for a couple of weeks, and then all of a sudden my drive says there is no disk in the drive when there is.

I hope it's not a hardware problem (my harddrive), but rather a problem with the disks...too much heat maybe>?

Has anyone come across other price sheets of what is going to be on sale? I'm about to buy a PSP and would love to get one tomorrow night if they are onsale, otherwise to eBay I go for it.
