As you can tell by the poll results, any prosecutor taking this to trial is asking to end his term in the next election.

    I doubt Horn gets anything.

    This is absolutely priceless!!!

Yes, I'm sure the prosecutor is reading this thread before making any decisions. Particularly since he hasn't presented one shred of evidence to anyone as of yet.

I don't need an idiot cowboy from next door blazing away with a shotgun, goofus. I'm quite capable of protecting my family.

Prosecutors aren't elected. Only the DA is elected and he only has a partial say in whether a case goes forward or not.

That being said, I'm sure ClutchFans.net is the first place to look to gauge the feelings of the community as a whole.

D*mn shame that 'justice' depends on whether or not an official will get reelected

    DaDakota

    I have one more question.
    It is Hypothetical
What if he was wrong? What if they really weren't robbing the place?
Would you still appluad his attempt? Would you still be willing to let him go . . because he was TRYING TO DO THE RIGHT THING in your mind?

And given this board's incredibly left-leaning stance, this poll taken from a more normal sample would probably be much more in favor of Horn's side, not Quanell X and the burglars' side.

You guys are so funny.....if you think Prosecutors don't put their finger up to feel which way the wind is blowing, you are nuts.

That doesn't have anything to do with the thread, but if you believe the people on this BBS mirror the feelings of general society then it is not such a leap of faith...

Nope if he shot innocent people then I would feel different.

    Some clowns did.

My neighbor saw them and called the police and it sounds like they arrested someone.

She didn't go out and shoot them.

I'm not sure a poll on this website is a really good gauge of which way the wind is blowing, DaDa. For starters, we're about 95% male here.

Yes that is true, but if 50% of your jury is going to be male, and 60% of them are not going to convict him even if charged...well...you get where I am going.

I don't think poll is quite that scientific. For example...I'd lean towards convicting...but I didn't vote, because I said I haven't seen the actual evidence presented at trial yet. There were a couple of others who echoed that sentiment.

I believe in the use of our existing system of justice instead of vigilantism, so I voted Yes.
