Jazz are saying goodbye to Shawn Bradley and Mark Jackson.

    Mavs 1st rounder
    Celtics 2nd rounder
    Nets 2nd rounder
    Rockets 2nd rounder

I'm all for undrafted rookies since I basically have 4 2nd round picks.

Ok back to Mo - I kinda suspected that. That means that me posting Andre Miller as available in the pointguard department over should be disregarded.

Mo Taylor replaces him in the big man department. Not a bad replacement, and the one we suspected would go there, but ZRB thought Mo had good numbers so he said he was probably gonna keep Mo and give up Miller. I guess the comeback in game 7 changed all that. (Mo was benched).

I hear all of ya points, and I will keep my head up through this rebuilding process, but...

    1) when is the next rookie draft? I mean that could be like 3 years away. So my chances of getting better through that draft are minimal at best.

    2) If I'm lucky enough to draft an average player in this common draft, that does what, move me into the middle of the pack so that my rookie picks get even worse. Most of the GM's in the league are brilliant, if not at least smart to some degree, so I don't think there are too many good deals out there for us at the bottom....but if anyone wants me to rip them off I'd be glad too! I'll keep trying to get better through this good GM'ing stuff, but I may need to turn to the 'darkside' to have a chance.

Next year you can even get lucky in the lottery! [IMG]

It is also my belief that even though next season system lead to giving up your #5 and #8 guy - that probably next years common draft will have better talent. Why? Well, I think because of all the rookies added this year, and the fact that all the crappy teams have less crappy players, and the fact that next season there is no hiding of players, or saying that a best starter at a point is good enough to give up. Next season, you protect 4, and will lose your 5th best no matter what. This year because of trades and the rules we had some teams although giving up 2 starters did not give up a player in their top 5, maybe even worse.

The one team I am missing draftees from is the Warriors... now, JD has not been active recently, and I still have not gotten the people he is submitting to the draft, so I am considering getting a new Warriors GM. JD, if you read this, please try and get back to me by tomorrow at the latest with the people you are submitting to the draft, and try and be more active on the board-- otherwise, we might go after a new GM. MoesTavern is next on the list...
