Why, because you said so? Hell no! This has long lasting ramifications to the rockets future. At the very least, the rockets should pursuade the league to enact a policy that prevents this sort action. **** David Stern!

I assume you want this bull**** to happen again, should the league remain owner of the hornets.

The Rockets never agreed on the second deal. Stern was pushing in order to kill the trade all together.

Well go ahead and fret about it all you like, won't change anything.

Hell, I still am pissed that Mike Renfro was in control of the ball against the Steelers......

    Do what you want....

We should all get to lineup as ticket payers and be able to get a free shot in on Stern. Right in between the legs. I am sure he is non functional down there by now anyways.

I am just glad Scola and Martin are still on the team. The only thing this team is lacking is a solid C. The Center does even need to be scorer but one that can play tough D and Rebound.

Rockets need to do exactly what they're doing. Do business behind closed doors. Hopefully stern will figure out a way to give us a "Cleveland special"

Have to remember it was essentially Scola, Martin, Dragic and a pick for Gasol, Nene and maybe another free agent AND cap space. It would have been a significant domino effect.

It's why I believe the Rockets were absolutely screwed more than anyone else in the Paul fiasco.

And Chuck, presumably the Gasol trade followed by the Nene signing is why they were "begging" that he wait to sign with Sacto.

    I'm guessing the envisioned:

    Lowry, Flynn, Lin
    Lee, Twill
    Budinger, Morris, Parsons
    Gasol, PPat
    Nene, Chuck, Hill

With enough assets remaining to upgrade the wing.

You clowns don't realize that we would've had both Gasol's or Pau and Nene for basically a no defense playing KMart and Scola....You gotta be ****ten me guys think with your head and not your hearts!!!!!!

Hope you enjoy been average until we finally are able to get bad enough to build through the draft or pull off a trade. Those two guys values are only going to get worse. They are on the wrong side of 30 and we are going to have to eat their huge contracts now, 8 seed or bust....idiots

You pick odd things to go in Apathetic Shrug-Off mode about.

And people eat it up and respond every time.

Along with that is things like leebizez saying Morey should JUST "QUIT" if he can't do his job, like Jimmie Johnson did...

These reactions don't even match the context. Who actually does these things? Its extremist hard line "QUIT, WEAKLING" or "Oh well".

    I agree

This guy seriously effed up the future of three franchises based on what we know has been a pack of lies

The guy is a snake and there should at least be a serious petion to get him out of the league.

if this source is substantiated, and trust me the media will look for every avenue to validate the claim, stern will probably have to resign.. there are already calls for his firing due to the feigen report, if it is substantiated, watch out..

Les should keep the pressure on behind the scenes to have Stern resign. Good or bad, for or against, the way the trade went down was just a bush league embarrassment, gives the appearance of collusion and exposed the league to a lawsuit from Chris Paul. Incompetence needs to have consequences especially at the huge salaried CEO level.

Winning the championship is nearly impossible with this lineup and the trade would've made us better off (if we had Gasol and cap space to sign Nene). I'd rather bet on the Rockets taking Stern down and forcing his retirement than us becoming significant.

I'd love to see the Rox win the championship and totally ignore David Stern when they were receiving the trophy.

lettuce be realtea, Nene is so overrated on this board its laughable...

Gasol, yes he is a great player, but the guy is 32 or so..he might have 2 more good seasons left..

the only way this trade would have worked for me, is if we flipped Nene and Gasol somehow for Howard down the road..
