Boyette is one of those guys who had a wonderful, but unnoticed, college career. He is also a player who always seems to find a way to get the ball in the basket. 2) Shawnelle Scott - He's got good size, and some NBA experience...might benefit the rockets. 3) Jason Keep - physial inside presence...I've read that he is possibly the strongest player in the draft..."set a Chicago pre-draft record as he bench pressed 185 pounds 27 times during the recent physicals. MAC big men Brandon Hunter of Ohio U. and Theron Smith from Ball State accomplished the feat 25 times. Conversely, T.J. Ford of Texas, Luke Ridnour from Oregon and Aleksander Vujacic failed to bench press the 185 pounds once." Any thoughts?
Tuscott lead conference USA in rebounding I believe. He is a banger and brings physical presence inside. He reminds me of a Carl Herrera type.
if 6ft7 and 210 lbs are the right numbers for Truscot, he doesn't seem to have the right body to be a banger...
I only lasted for half of the Game. I would describe it as a game between sharp polished players, strutting their stuff and a team of scrubs that were trying out for a Division 10 non professional team in China. The qualiy difference between the teams was like a chasm. JVG needs to do a lot of planning and soul searching, before he gets our team together. Yesteryear is gone and our new Staff needs to raise the bar to a new level.
Boki wasn't much to se..athletic, but really off. The Bad Man was the only guy who stood out, aside from Hicks who made a few, but took a lot more.
Jason Keep was realeased....as told by JVG on a interview here in LA on the Chris Myers/Bob Golic show
