I guess Davis didn't notice how are points went down and we were last in fast breaks even though we were a top rebounding team. Every since the zone, the Rockets ppg dipped because of overdribbling from the backcourt. Had Francis got up the court after rebound and forced the tempo, it would have been better, but indecisiveness always killed that.
Didn't the Rockets turn the ball over 30 times one game? Dude, the fastbreak isn't going to work with Stevie. You can push the tempo, but running and gunning just means that the other team's PPG is going to go up.
Who are they kidding??? Francis NEVER ran the break well. While he wasn't nearly as bad as some made him out to be, when he was bad, he looked horrific! That's funny stuff.
On a side note, reading this article, it shows why we need a PG badly. Now, with Lue in the fold we're still in decent shape, but if we can get a quality starting PG, then we're always going to be in good shape with that PG and Lue in at all times.
Is this quote referring to TMac or to Francis? Didn't this writer ever watch the Rockets play, especially before Yao got here, when the backcourt was free to do whatever they wanted? You know, kinda what Davis is going to let them do now.
Yeah, wait until they get a good dose of SF & Mobley driving into the teeth of the zone and turning over the ball. More spin from Orlando.
Don't yall get it by now? They know they got the short end of the stick in this trade and now they're tryin to make the best of it by bashing T-Mac. Have you heard about any Houston press writing trash about Francis or Mobley? In fact, houston has nothing but love for them and everyone is wishing them good luck. Let them write this kind of crap.
Sure as hell doesn't seem like it around here ... most every thread is either bashing Francis or making fun of his lack of skill in one area or the other.
