Only ONE player from the Knicks and NJ Nets actually LIVE in NYC and that is Kendall Gill. All the other players live in the sweet secluded comfort of Westchester County, Long Island, and Northern Bergen County - NJ. It's VERY VERY quiet in those places. However, those places are close enough to go into the Manhatten Night life. Some places of NJ is just about as Country as Texas - with farms and everything. I don't think C Webb will be in New York for other reasons. But I don't think C Webb will be going to Houston for their nightlife or the calm slow pace because you can get that just about ANY Major city. As far as the tax thing goes, he has good accountants I'm sure to make it worth his while. Enough of the speculating of where C Webb will be. Let's just all wait and see. ------------------
But you'll still have to spend alot of time in whatever city you play in. I don't know if that's good or bad for Houston or NYC. As for the tax thing, I'm sure Web has a great tax lawyer, but there's a difference between paying two income taxes or on income tax. Unless, Web actually gets money back from the state. Is Snapper the same guy that broadcast for Portland games? Because I remember one of our radio affiliate interviewed a Portland broadcaster right before we played them last week. And the broadcaster basically said the same thing. In addition, he also said the only season why Hakeem is playing so well now is because the coaching staff finally let Hakeem play.
Well...that's not too far from the truth. Hakeem has been getting more PT, which has correlated into increased production. But I think that had more to do with Rudy & Co's relutance to push Dream with the asthma problems he had last year. But you're right...Snapper is an idiot. ------------------
