This thread is getting out of hand.

I can't believe that an interesting courtside observation would evolve into an ugly name-calling contest. Frankly, I have no idea why people would want to "investigate" the authenticity of any post here. No one is trying to sell you anything. If you don't believe what's been posted, just skip to the next one.

Next thing you know, we are going to be asked to produce valid picture ID before we post. Chill. This is a freaking sports forum. You guys need to ease up on the steroid pills. ;)

I actually can't wait for Tranmerica34's post on the GS game. Would be interesting to know what did JVG said in the last seconds.

He is trying to sell us the fact that JVG is fighting with his players. And he wants us to believe it so much that he would go as far as make up lies. That's what bothered me. If he just wanted to voice his opinion fine, i would have moved on to the next thread...he didn't...he made Jeff Van Gundy say that his players are stupid and not listening to him...

BTW, i agree with IROC, being on the opposite side of the floor (and a few rows up) is not being within earshot of the bench (fogrget about both benches)...

During timeouts, the coach would have either:

    A) Faced his players and been turning his back to tranny's section 112

    B) Faced section 112, but had 5 or 6 players shielding him from section 112

Either way, tranny would have heard nothing from where he claims to have been seated. He couldn't even have read on anyone's lips...

Tranny, who got your ticket to the Sixer game ? Broker again ? If not you can get that one scanned for us tonight...short of believing you actually heard anything from the coaches, i'd at least believe you attended the game...

You have "far too much time on your hands" to make up this b/s and actually expect us to believe you. If the reality was that the "Rockets failed because they didn't listen to JVG" then that was obvious anyways so any moron (in this case... you) can post a thread like this garbage dump and act like you are an inside source or somethin...

You did previously make a thread called "so far, your 2003/04 Rockets are un-watchable" so why the hell would you be traveling everywhere to see them play?

Once again.... I can't believe you said we have to much time on our hands...

As someone who actually watched games at the ACC, let me tell you there are Row B seats. The sections of permanent seats are arranged by number. Those are outside where the hockey rink would be. There are also couple of rows of fold chairs which are floor side which are arranged by letters. Like I said in the other thread I was taking his info with a grain of salt, but no you did not just catch him in a lie.

    danjojo,

go read the Chron article on this forum. It talks about the players not listening to JVG at the end of the GSW game as well. He is not the only person that is saying that. I think you need to open your eyes a bit and see what is really going on.

Interesting reading. Good intensity on all sides, so it's nice to see you all care.

As for the quotes: These are the soundbites, I heard during the timeout.

Have you ever sat that close? You CAN hear what the coach is saying, even in the huddles. Most of the quotes from the Philly game was DURING the game. As for the Toronto games, most of them came not on the bench, but during discussion on the court, before and after the timeout. This is how it went down, folks.

As far as selling you a bill of goods on JVG and players fighting, you're right, I'm not the only one saying this. Check out the Chronicle, hell, watch the interviews and analysis on TNT and they ellude to this as well. It's too bad, but players are listening to the coach's every command thus far, pariticularly in situations where they don't get the ball or dominate the ball in the gut of the game.

The difference here is, the Chronicle and analysis on TNT have alot more credit then you. You have not proven a thing, there for:
    A) most people here don't believe you
    B) you could be anyone tryin to get "credit" for b/s (do you expect people to believe your travelling from Toronto to Philly.. just to watch the game after you say they are un-watchable!?)
    C) think your a moron... etc

So, where's the ticket? How hard can it be to scan it? Or at least take a blurry picture of it with a digital camera? If you have it, why do you say "your friend told you that that is the seat"? Wouldn't all it would take be to take a look at it?

Prove them wrong, Transsylvania...prove them wrong!

You know what would be really funny?

If TranAmerica turned out to really be none other than . . . Suzi, the covergirl for the Rocket PowerDancers.

Being courtside, on the floor, she wouldn't have a seat, and being blonde, she would be bound to leave careless discprencies in her story.

Girl, you wear too much make-up.

Umm, the power dancers don't travel with the team and don't cheer on the court at away games. :p
