Dude? ARe you talking about the Elite Force Aviator?

You guys do realize that he was a passenger on a aircraft and landed on a carrier don't you? That qualifies as heroic to me.:D

I guess you could choose someone who likes to play military dress up or someone who actually has significant military experience.

I'll never understand how people in the military cannot care that Bush was a fortunate son who got to skip Vietnam, barely got into the Air National Guard (probably causing a more qualified candidated to lose his spot *irony*), and then went AWOL for like a month?

Oski, wasn't he AWOL for longer than a year's time? (AWOL is AWOL, but I'm just curious)

dc rock, I agree. Eddie Munster's candidacy should be taken more seriously.

I wasn't actually sure, so I thought it better to put something relatively short to not irk the conservatives. Not to mention Bush likes to take month long vacations about 3 times a year so it seemed to make sense.

Yes Bush failed to report for duty for right around one year, of his Guard duty.

There was a group of Viet Nam veterans, I don't know if they were conservative or not, that were offering reward money to anyone who served with Bush or could show that he he did actually serve during that year. It was never paid.

So he's gotten better over the years. During nam, it was a year long vacation. Now, it's just one month. His efforts to better himself should be applauded.
