Thursday Happy Hour at Live sounds like a winner to me!!! I know there are more downtowners who could possibly make this.
Thursday sounds good to me and for those who can't get there early I'm certainly willing to hangout late. Still interested in seeing the Stros. Anyone know who's slated to pitch on April 17, 18, 19? Seeing the Rox at TC on the 19th is sounding less and less fun with no Yao or T-Mac and the team looking to tank. That said it would be nice to see TC since the last Rox game I saw in Houston was at the Summit (it wasn't Compaq Center yet). How much are Rox tix running these days? Are there still going to be Red Rowdies? Still up for meeting Clutchfans who can't make it to any of those events, schedule permitting. Would particularly like meeting some D & D posters to see if they are as big pretentious windbags in person.
Sishir Chang- I've got lunch, just let me know which day and where you want to eat. Sorry I forgot you were coming to H town. I big pretentious windbag.
You will likely be far more impressed with AK and her friends than me. I'm not competing until Sat. afternoon but am planning on taking it easy Friday night. The other nights should be OK, although its looking more and more likely that I might actually have to work on a few days. Damn telecommunications. On the plus side I might also be meeting with potential clients and partner firms so I could end up writing this trip off on taxes. We actually do have a few places that serve fish tacos here but they aren't very good.
Thursday is actually bad for me. I've got a "business dinner" going on that night. But don't let that affect the plans, I'm on the non-alcohol lifestyle plan anyway. Anybody up for going to an Astros game together perhaps?
Rhester; Lunch would be great. Any interest in Yao's restaurant otherwise I will leave it to you pick a place. As I said earlier Tuesday or Wed. would great. Let me know which day works best for you and send me an email with your contact info. Also you mind if others join us? It would be great to meet you, MadMax and some of the more theologically oriented Clutchfans.
Yao's restaurant is near my work so I could make lunch. Though I'm definitely not theologically oriented.
i can probably do lunch next week. would have a hard time with anything in the evening, though, due to little league and other stuff.
I'd love to meet up on thursday to meet akperez and friends. o yeah, it'd be cool to meet sishir chang.
Thursdays are our weekly business meetings at Treasures. You are more than welcome to come by to say hello.
Sishir and Rhester, let me know where you decide for lunch. I can probably join you if you don't mind if I bring my 5 month old. She almost always falls asleep in restaurants. If we don't do that, I probably could make it to Live on Thursday. Or maybe I could so both.
Have any definite plans actually been made yet? I've seen a lot of tentative whatnot being thrown around, but I haven't seen any definite stuff going down yet.
Will try to hook up with you. My wife and I have something to do in Houston on Wed and Thurs I think. I represent the geriatric portion of Clutch fans.
It sounds like its Thurs night at the Live Sports Cafe is definate lunch looks definate at Yao's but not sure if either Tues. or Wed.. I'm still up for a Stros game and since the Rox are tanking either Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday's game would be good. I'm going to have to see who's pitching because it would be great to see Roy-O or Pettite pitching.
