Yeah it is big for a PG but it defeat the purpose if your SG is same height or just a inch taller. If he’s a legit 6’6 he’s my pick over Mobley
G League list him as 6’6 210 https://ignite.gleague.nba.com/roster/ Of course they all could have taken measurements at the combine and this wouldn’t be a “problem”! *Personally I don’t think it’s a problem or huge deal but clear things up. Green 6’4, 6’6, Kuminga 6’6, 6’8, whatever…
I've always heard Kuminga is 6'8". I did post that I would rather have Kuminga at 6'8" slide over to the 4 spot than 6'6" Kenyon Martin Jr. Maybe that is the confusion?
I think Kuminga is 6'7. Jalen Green is tall enough IMO, better question is he long enough? Supposedly has a 6'7 wingspan.
Does not love defense. But 24% 3ball shooter is a huge red flag. Kuminga is supposed to be best 3-D player in draft but has no passion for D and has no 3.
Suggs and Cunningham didn’t even go to the combine. And Mobley, Green, Kuminga (and a few others) I guess didn’t participate? (Although were listed) Spoiler https://www.nba.com/stats/draft/combine-anthro/?SeasonYear=2021-22 No measurements listed Sharife Cooper Cade Cunningham Jalen Green Isaiah Jackson Jonathan Kuminga Matthew Mayer Evan Mobley Day'Ron Sharpe Cam Thomas
And yet I would take him over Mobley What did Kenyon Martin shoot 3P% prior to Houston I posted Bassey was 31% and Mobley was 28% from 3 with about one month remaining in the college season. By season's end they met half way: Mobley 30.0% and Bassey 30.5%. but Bassey took 2.1 attempts to Mobleys 1.2 attempts. Kuminga wasn't shy at 5.0 attempts College season was about 32 games. Kuminga played like 13 games? vs more man to man than these college players.
His official NBA pre-season measurement (barefoot) is posted on the G-League roster for Ignite. It’s 6’6. The league has a policy of rosters posting heights from official measurements. Although everyone is listed at the inch mark (no half/quarter inches). So he could be just under 6’6.5” (rounded down) from that measurement.
I think about this a lot, as a lesson from the Harden era. He was always talented and clever, but a huge factor over the long term was that he loved to hoop. That made him constantly work on his game, and play all the minutes he could. That and his durability made him enormously productive.
Tmac was a defensive minded player coming out, sam with Kobe. They both had fire to want to shut their man down. I like Green's offensive repertoire I'm just wondering if he'll give the team anything if the ball isnt in his hands. Dont get me wrong I wouldnt be upset if he is the pick but considering both him and Mobley have holes anyway I'd rather go with Mobley.
Lol this is like the 5th year Cavs have taken a guard. Sexton, Okoro, Garland and now rumored to take Suggs...guess they're really missing kyrie?
Both Kuminga and Bassey are rated below Mobley for good reason. Kuminga is a horrible 3ball shooter and average defender. Bassey used to be a 2nd round hidden gem of mine until he became overrated on CF.
