Applied to become a member or a Delegate?

I've noticed we already have a couple of UN members but on the Rocketstonville page it says "UN Delegate: None."

....and I think that's how we invade.

    From the FAQ:

Can I invade other people's regions?

Yes. The practice of "region crashing," where a group of nations all move to a region with the aim of seizing the UN Delegate position, is part of the game. Certain groups within NationStates are particularly adroit at this, and can attack very quickly."

I meant a member of the UN. I still don't fully understand the game and how to grow as a nation or region just yet

I'm pretty sure that a group of nations moves into a different region with one of their member nations in mind as the UN delegate. In a region, the nation with the most endorsements for UN delegate receives the position. This is why it's necessary for a large number of nations to move to the new region at once. If this did not happen, the single nation wishing to be UN delegate would have no support, and would not have enough votes to achieve the position.

With that said, here is my nation:

    The Kingdom of Enderica
    "Pride, Respect, Honor"

UN Category: Father Knows Best State
    Civil Rights: Excellent
    Economy: Good
    Political Freedoms: Few

    Location: the South Pacific
The Kingdom of Enderica is a tiny, socially progressive nation, renowned for its compulsory military service. Its compassionate, hard-working, cynical population of 6 million are ruled by a mostly-benevolent dictator, who grants the populace the freedom to live their own lives but watches carefully for anyone to slip up.

The small government juggles the competing demands of Law & Order, Defence, and Commerce. The average income tax rate is 12%. A large private sector is led by the Door-to-door Insurance Sales industry, followed by Uranium Mining and Retail.

Elections have been outlawed. Crime is a problem. Enderica's national animal is the dragon and its currency is the desar.

Enderica is ranked 3756th in the region and 57,446th in the world for Most Subsidized Industry.

So can you actually, umm... do anything?

Except handle an issue once a day?

I guess I'm confused as to what happens now.

I applied to join the UN, no word on that yet.

The United Socialist States of Rashmonium
"Back in the US back in the US back in the USSR"

    UNCategory: Left-wing Utopia

Civil Rights: Excellent / Economy: Fragile / Political Freedoms: Excellent

    Location: Rocketstonville

The United Socialist States of Rashmonium is a tiny, safe nation, remarkable for its devotion to social welfare. Its compassionate, intelligent population of 5 million are free to do what they want with their own bodies, and vote for whoever they like in elections; if they go into business, however, they are regulated to within an inch of their lives.

The government -- a sprawling, bureaucracy-choked, socially-minded morass -- is mainly concerned with Social Welfare, although Healthcare and Education are secondary priorities. The average income tax rate is 41%, but much higher for the wealthy. A tiny private sector is dominated by the Book Publishing industry.

Crime -- especially youth-related -- is totally unknown.

Rashmonium's national animal is the armadillo, which frolics freely in the nation's many lush forests, and its currency is the cashmon.

    The Oppressed Peoples of Davini
"A place where everyone has their voice heard."

UN Category: New York Times Democracy
    Civil Rights:
    Excellent Economy:
    Strong Political Freedoms:
    Superb

    Location: Rocketstonville
The Oppressed Peoples of Davini is a tiny, socially progressive nation, notable for its complete lack of prisons. Its compassionate, hard-working, intelligent population of 5 million enjoy a sensible mix of personal and economic freedoms, while the political process is open and the people's right to vote held sacrosanct.

The medium-sized, corrupt government juggles the competing demands of Social Welfare, Religion & Spirituality, and Education. The average income tax rate is 19%. A small private sector is dominated by the Basket Weaving industry.

Crime is moderate, probably because of the country's utter lack of prisons. Davini's national animal is the goat and its currency is the davini.

    Sounds fun.

The People's Republic of Chilltown is a tiny, socially progressive nation, notable for its burgeoning jaguar population. Its hard-nosed, hard-working, intelligent population of 5 million enjoy a sensible mix of personal and economic freedoms, while the political process is open and the people's right to vote held sacrosanct.

The medium-sized government juggles the competing demands of Healthcare, Social Welfare, and Education. The average income tax rate is 18%. A small but healthy private sector is led by the Uranium Mining industry, followed by Woodchip Exports and Door-to-door Insurance Sales.

Crime is a problem, and the police force struggles against a lack of funding and a high mortality rate. Chilltown's national animal is the jaguar and its currency is the twixolion.

There was a sweet UN proposal a little while ago...

"The proposal "kill the poor" was removed from the floor."

    I wonder why that didn't pass.:D

It's based on votes from within the region, I believe.
