In all honesty, I'm never going to get along well with people who support the player more than the team. One of these clowns was posting over and over how he wanted him traded to Boston and how that was best for everybody involved. These are not Rockets fans, so as far as I'm concerned I'll treat their opinions like I would any other non-Rockets fan.

Although I grew up in Turkey, I mainly worked as expatriate (mainly in Europe and also NC/USA) and most of time could not get this racism/discrimination/positive discrimination issues. I thought republican values (liberte-egalite-fraternite) made us all equal, all citizens. It might be Lexington,NC where I realized how bad this issue was. A singer passed away, likely Ella Fitzgerald and there was a huge gap within the communities. Afro-Americans' responses and Puritan descendants' responses were unbelivable different. I sided with Black community but decided to understand the reason for this difference, not superficially but like trying to solve an engineering problem. Checked American history (Boston Brethens, Puritans, Quakers, Constitution,Wesley,Calvinism, North-South War, Sun-belt states,..) and realized that certain people suffered a lot, more than we can imagine abroad. But as a classical liberal (not US Democrats type clowns, Burke type one)and a deist (If I was Christian I woud be Quaker because they believe everyone is equal and human is not sinful from the birth, it is a useles discussion because I don't belive in religions, only God) I believe there are very good and very bad people everywhere. I cannot say all Anglosaxons and Portuguse people (slave traders) or Germans (Nazis),Saudis (limited women rights),Indian (still caste systems),Chinese (Uyghur tortures) are bad people,some bad some good. The people suffered a lot in the past (Blacks,Jews,Gays,Women,Roma people) should be protected and to be given equal rights , no question. But as the second president of Turkish Republic (Ismet Inonu) quoted: "Minorities are equal but not more than equal". If you positively discriminate them it means that you discriminate hard-working,hard-studying normal folk. When I say minorities I don't mean only lower layer of the society but also very top. Oxford&Cambridge are the top schools in the UK and 33% of students come from 12 private high school. There is no central exam and if your family rich enough to pay £50.000/year for 5-12 years, you will likely get a place there although most of state school pupils studied harder than you and brighter than you.It is a positive discrimination and these unis will lose their spots to meritocracy based Chinese schools, sooner or later. You spent 800 years, 1000 years to create good institutions and nepotism/hypocrisy/discrimination destroys them.Not good. When I went to central university exam I knew that I could go to to top school if I pass the exam.Same for my daughter, never worried about some elites' children would take my/my daughter' hard earned places. Current Turkish President' son and daughter could not pass the exams, boy ended up in Harvard, girl in London School of Economics. Can you imagine Biden's or Trump's children would not be offered a place at uni, or King Charles' children in the UK. Unthinkable. These elites getting other people's places, discrimination against normal people. Other way around, the places at uni, sport clubs, finance, corporations are given to some minorities.It is also wrong.I co-operate with a technical start-up (within a uni) and we suffer a lot from these positively discriminated individuals. They should not be there, they are not good enough. You try to produce nozzles for rockets but this nearly graduating students lack high school chemistry/physics knowledge. Waste of time. A standard student finish the job in 3 days, these ones in 3 months..Waste of time. Everybody is not equal but everyone is to be given equal opportunities. 2% of the UK is from a certain Asian group but 10% of London Finance people are from same group. I asked to one Square Mile person "how come, what specialities they bring?" and he replied: " Nothing,,if any of them become owner/director, they just employ themselves".
