I have a soft spot for 19th century libertarian socialism and have written multiple times on the subject. 3. I am a misanthrope. 4. My youth was colorful. No record other than an MIP but I am sure plenty of people could be found to talk about shoplifting, vandalism, weed, B&E, association (but not participation) with drug dealers and gang violence. I could give some mean speeches and do really well in debates, but I would crash and burn big time on everything else.
I can only speak for myself, but I don't know if I or other black posters would be genuinely offended by the use of the term to describe a black public figure in this type of environment. But if my co-workers started calling me that, I'd probably just stare at them coldly and hope they got the message.
I actually have a very clean record... the only problems are that 1.) I am a naturalized citizen 2.) I don't believe in any religion 3.) I am single 4.) and some of my posts in this BBS which are not meant to be taken literally My main downfall is that I have posted in the bbs...

There is a difference between misanthropy and narcissism. I am most certainly not the latter, and that is part of the problem because politicians, especially at that level, should be.
The natural progression for the baby boomer- 1. (60's) Drugs, Sex and Rock N Roll 2. (70's) less DSR (love doesn't pay the bills) 3. (80's) kids, bills and a 401 (k)
I have been saying this for years! The level of disclosure most 20-year olds have on their Myspace/Facebook is crazy. Even if you try to keep your page clean, it doesn't help that other people can upload and tag pictures of you.
Fancy vocabulary words like that will get you labeled an elitist. Fine if you're running as a Republican, but you'd be sunk as a Democrat.
