Hmmm, they are setting up the U200 for me... If they don't include it I'm going to call them and tell them since it took them 3 weeks to finally set up my **** I'm switching to Comcast unless they give me a better rate.
They were surprisingly pleasant to talk to, at least the girl I talked to. I explained to them that I knew someone who had DirecTV with DVR/HD Channels/NFL Network for $39.99, and I wanted a similar deal. Their tech support/repairs dept on the other hand is brutal. I called them from work one day because my service was out the night before, but they couldn't send someone out until I "troubleshooted" it over the phone. I went home that night, called them, and after they had me unplug it and replug it, then hit the reset button, they agreed to send someone out. THE SAME STEPS I HAD TRIED THE NIGHT BEFORE. They take everyone for technical idiots, I guess. A week and four technicians later, it was finally back up. If anything like that ever happens again, I will be switching. I did get a $50 credit out of it though.
When I called them back on the 30th to ask where the **** my installation guy was, it was a nightmare. I went through 6 people until I finally got somebody who explained to me that the previous person had never bothered to disconnect their Uverse service, so they couldn't come and install my service until that was resolved. I got that resolved 2 days later, called them up and the guy I talked to this time was nice, and even threw in a few months of free HBO, said they would get me all hooked up ASAP, apparently he was going to get in touch with dispatch and tell them to expedite my case because of the hassle I went through. Said they'd call me from dispatch within 24 hours to get me set up ASAP. I never got the call, so I call in again, talk to a guy who says there is absolutely no way I can get set up until the ****ing 16th. I explain to him thats not acceptable as I have 3 online classes that started so I need an internet connection right now. Nothing they can do, says the guy. So I've been without internet and tv for 2 weeks now. Just 2 more days to get through. Its been brutal.
I just flipped to Ch. 130 on Comcast and I saw message to tune in at 1 PM EST. Last week, I got the "To order call..." message that you get with any channel you don't receive. Fingers crossed that this is a free preview day.

Hmm... looks like you get a different redzone channel than those of us who subscribe to DirecTV sunday ticket. for the last three years I've been watching the directv version which is hosted by andrew siciliano (formerly of fox sports radio with tony bruno) i wonder why they've done 2 versions of essentially the same thing?
That is probably something that DirectTV does with their Sunday Ticket package, this channel is affiliated with NFL Network. Yes.
NFL Net's Redzone channel is sick! Seriously, it is one of the greatest inventions. And the fact that they don't go to commercials?... It's impossible to turn away from this channel!
Dude, I pay $400/year just for that channel. It saddens me that I am addicted to football that much... but what are ya gonna do?
On Comcast, it looks like its on channel 130, which is not HD. Anyone seen this in HD on comcast, and how much is it?
Got this on UVerse and I absolutely love it!! Its one of those things (kind of like DVR) that once you have it, you'll never want to go without it.
If they could find someone sharp enough to handle a college version of this show I would be thrilled. Red Zone is an unfair fantasy player advantage btw, an illegal tool if everyone in the league doesn't possess it IMO.
I've had this channel for the past 3 weeks but it isn't working today for some reason. Maybe it's because of the free preview thingy? Is anyone having this problem with ATT U-Verse? It says that there's no programming scheduled at this time, but the games have already started.
