I'm getting HD premium package + phone + internet for 100....but I have 2 HD DVR boxes that I'm being charged $39 a month for...so my grand total (after sports package) is $153....is this high or low?

liamrock, what company/service is that? Sounds ok to me.
    "Uhhh..." what?

What's the problem with that? It explains U-Verse's terms and conditions. See how it compares with other cable discounts. HD is $10 after the free 1 year commitment. I posted the URL to sign up or check availability, too.

I'm seriously considering switching to a satellite provider (since U-Verse isn't available to me). Which is better (keeping in mind Rockets games): Directv or Dish Network?

man everyone seems to have problems with comcast.
    I have none.
$136 for Digital cable with HBO, STARZ, and Cinemax
one regular box and 1 dvr, the rest of the tv's have basic cable

i got the starz free just for signing up and a few months ago they ran this "silent" promotion of getting hbo and cinemax both for $10

my internet is superfast compared to back when it was twc
im always at 10mbps + on wireless
    and my upload is 2mbps+

i guess the only problem i have with comcast is that on one of the tv's in my house with basic cable theres no frickin GUIDE
    lol

    How are those speeds possible?
Especially when upload is capped well below 1 mbps...its something like 384 kbps

I think the speak easy site is yanking crank.

I'm at work and it has 21437 kbps download using speak easy.

If you go over to 2wire.com and use theirs. It is 7.44, which is about right.
