So I went to the U-Verse site and they said they did not have it in my area (galveston county). Anybody work for AT&T know when they will have the infrastructure for this in the greater Houston area? Their site doesn't tell you jack about time lines of availability.
I live in Spring and I switched to U-verse last month. I love it! While you do need a land telephone line, you don't need it to be active. They are installing it neighborhood by neighborhood, so there is no exact date when it will be available. You can sign up on their site for them to e-mail you when it will be available.
good question...is it true U-Verse is only 1.5megabits down? if so, that's just not fast enough for my uses
Ok, so is it Comcast's HD service that sucks, or everything in general? I use them for regular digital cable now (had Time Warner pre switch). I use AT&T for my phone and internet service. I'm moving to a new home in two weeks and trying to get one of those all-in-one combo deals. I was considering Comcast. Any better options out there (AT&T U-verse is not available in my area).
So i got a package in the mail advertising at&t u-verse o w.e...okay it sounds really good and all that but to the people that have it and had comcast...is the internet faster then road runner?
