How many of you guys in the Houston area paying for high speed internet standalone (unbundled)? I've been paying TimeWarner 49.95 /mo for 5 years now, and I swear Comcast offers it for $45 at least everywhere else, but I can't get them to admit it. Customer service reps just tell me they use the TW price.
if you don't mind a 1 year contract, which i don't see why not since you've been paying the last 5 years, call them up and ask them if they have any specials. they may give you a 39.95 deal b/c of the contract. just subtlely hint that if they can't lower it, you'll go dsl.
