    End of an era.

Question now is, where does he end up?

    I'm kind of surprised.

Arizona seems like a good fit for Peyton.

I sure hope the Texans pick him up. If he is anywhere near healthy this would guarantee as close to a SuperBowl 'ship as we would ever have.

I would drop Schaub in the drop of a hat for a healthy Manning.

man, we knew it was happening but it's just strange, as a football fan, to see him released. Superbowls, made indy relevant thus getting them that new stadium...and then..oh yeah we no longer need you. That's the nfl.

Wishing peyton the best, always loved his game and his commercials. Now go cut that meat away from the afc!

Arizona? Didn't they just spend $70 million on Kolb?

Feels like the end of an era. No matter the respect I have for him, though, I can't say that I'm sorry to see him go. I'm glad he won't be in the AFC South anymore.

isn't it just do diligence to work him out and see if he is ready/willing to play here?

Peyton Manning is not going to play for the Houston Texans. Get that idea out of your head immediately. You guys are smarter than that.

Do you honestly think that Kubiak will forget about Schaub and Yates and go all out to sign a recently severely injured Manning?

I'd take a healthy Manning over a recently severely injured Matt Shaub. Fo sho.
