I don't know if it's more of a comment on you by dropping a "Life Goes On" reference or more of a comment on me by knowing the kid's name was "Corky" rather than "Corey". I venture to say we're both in the same boat.
Had the Colts won they would have found a way to defend that ref, like they did on the tuck rule, and people say the NBA is the only one with ref problems.
True... my mistake. Even so, I'm used to most of the arguments you mentioned with him at least being about a remotely debatable topic. This was such an obvious call (even for Colts fans on their MB) that it shocked me to see anyone that might think that was an incompletion. But, the Steelers won anyway so I guess all of us, including myself, need to let it go. By the way, Manny, I'm predicting the Steelers to win next weekend... which, given my track record this postseason, means your Broncos are almost a lock to be in the Super Bowl.
I thought that was the single worst call I've ever seen in my few years of watching NFL football. That was just wrong, and it seemed like poetic justice when Vanderjagt missed the field goal. Even though I'm a generic fan of Indy - Peyton Manning has always fascinated me - I thought the Colts deserved to lose this game, and it was only fair that they lost in the most painful way possible.
