Three Texans starters inactive against Indy

    October 23, 2005
HOUSTON (AP) -- Texans receiver Andre Johnson, guard Zach Wiegert and defensive end Gary Walker were inactive for Sunday's game against the Indianapolis Colts.

Johnson, a Pro Bowl receiver, was out for the second week after straining his calf early in Houston's game against Tennessee on Oct. 9.

Wiegert (ankle) was injured against Seattle last week and Walker (shoulder) has been out since Week 2.

Maybe the Chronicle needs to come out with a R.I.P. headline for the Texans like they did with the Astros.

Nice 'bump-n-fall' coverage by Buchanon on that slant to Stokely...

Fans should stick it to the team and start a Houston Astros chant in the stadium...then stage a walkout and head to the bars early for tonights game.

Damnit, I can't stand to have such a sh**y team with Houston in its name.

Atleast Mexico is getting its ass kicked on ESPN2.

It might have a different effect for the Texans -- they might just stop coming to the games . . .

minus the interception, this is the best half of offense the Texans have had all season... and they still haven't scored yet.

That should tell you enough you need to know about this team.

man, just sec ago at the end of that run by Davis, one of the linemen guys should have went be hind him and helped him move forward, by pushing him.

Davis had his legs churning but couldn't move if he was pushed from behind there would have been a few more yards.

With this being a home game, they need to show six episodes of the Simpsons on FOX.
