Nope. Some of us take care of our sh*t and graduate all by ourselves thank you very much. The longest paper I had to write was my senior research project which was 20 pages. I had that b**** done a month and a half before it was due.
Oh lord. This is giving me bad flash backs. 4 pages double spaced? Pfft. That's like filler stuff for like a 20 page paper. I wonce went 2 days with out sleep on a 30 page project I had to had done. Uhhhh *shivers*
Dude...that's weak. What you do is all the stuff you say, then return to the dormroom, take a couple of monster rips from the bong, and tap the keg. That, sir, is how you're supposed to roll in college.
So true. After every major paper of mid-term I used whatever Redbull was leftover and splashed it into my Grey Goose. My apt was sandwiched btw 3 sororiety girls and 4 ultra skans. Good times.
Mind if I join the club? I'm currently writing an 8-page case write-up on XM Radio for my Pricing Channels class (due tomorrow at 9:30 AM). Even though I've got 3-4 pages done already (plus 4 Excel exhibits), I'll probably still be up the whole night, anyway. Joy.
well im still up writing my paper.. but once agin how is asking for ideas cheating? so u never cheated in college? want a cookie?
Hate to pile on presumably after the fact, but there's really no excuse for this in the Wikipedia era. Intro government is basically current events. Get a topic, get some historical background, download a couple of editorials with opposing view points (cite your sources) and write a concluding paragraph with your own opinion. College is gonna be so much harder than this over the next four years, and a couple of years from now you're gonna feel like an idiot when you realize how easy this could have been. I'm gonna go ahead and guess Mom and Dad are paying your tuition?
no dad mom is poor so no...this is just one episode there a reasons why i wasnt able to start my paper earlier (like work) im not always like this but **** i thought this kinda stuff happens to everyone..guess not..
No, but I am. I don't know who you are, but I'm definitely going to check papers on school prayer very closely. I'm pretty tech-dumb, right?
There's really no excuse for promoting Wikipedia for academic purposes. You are going to berate a guy for procrastinating in a seemingly useless class but then suggest that he should use the worlds most unreliable database for information? At least he is just hurting himself while you are hurting anyone who reads your post and heeds your advice. Unless you are looking up articles about pop culture, Wikipedia is awful. Use databases (GALE is awesome). Just go to the library section on your schools webpage and there will be a long list. (I hope the thread author doesn't go to UT because there are 30 to 40 research engines on their site)
I was a huge procrastinator in college but I never pulled an all-nighter. My best was probably a 12 page research paper. The day before it was due I went to the library after class (maybe around 4pm), went home and ate dinner, watched a little TV, and then started my paper at 8. Finished about 11:30. Turned it in well rested. Got an A. This should be its own thread, actually, a "could have been a nightmare but pulled it out" college thread. Like when I slept through half of one of my finals (I set the alarm and it either never went off or I was so asleep that I turned it off without waking). I got lucky because at the end they always ask if anyone wants to see one of the first 20 slides and there were enough people that I was able to see them all without even having to ask. Got an A.
i pulled a several all nighters. finishing at 8:30 AM to turn it in at 9AM. nightmare but pulled it out...i 'slept' though 3/4 of a semester one time. It felt weird the handful of times i actually attended class, like...am i suppose to be here?
