    I put Rice down in the poll since that's where I went for my first degree/ traditional "college experience". However, I'm apparently addicted to education and, had this been a multiple option poll, would have checked a total of four boxes.

    UH Coog here....just 2 more years to get my BS in Civil Engineering, i just finished my 3 hour Deformable Solids Finals, my last one this semester

    Got small music scholarships to Tech and UT, but opted for the full ride at SHSU. Graduated from there in 96.

    Now taking some prerequisites at Kingwood College to get into business school and get my masters.

    Class of 1999.

    Just got word this morning that my soccer coach at Sam passed this morning. Ted Micheal was also the director of Human Resources for the university and had been at the school since 1966. He was the head coach when the program was a Div. 1 team in the 1980's and kept it running as a successful club team since.

    Rest in peace, Coach.

    Gig Em 2010....have a question though, i am a marketing major and was wondering if I should transfer to U of H since their marketing program is better than A&M's but A&M has a better business school as a whole, any suggestions? Thanks

    Aggie class of '84, married to an Aggie, class of '85 and my son just completed his first semester, class of '12.

    To the person considering dental school - consider getting a degree in chemical engineering. It will look great on a med school app, but will also get you a job if you change your mind down the road about dental school. Bachelor degrees in the pure sciences do not lead to good jobs.

    My finalists were UT, A&M, and Tulane in no particular order.

    I was quickly accepted to UT and A&M (top 10%). I visited UT. I eliminated A&M :D Then on April 1st, I was accepted through regular decision at Tulane. By then I was already sold on UT...sometimes I wonder how life would have been different had I gone to another school, but I don't regret it.

    Well then technically, I don't qualify to vote in that poll. I got my BS from UT though. :D I haven't decided where I'm going for my MPH; in-state most likely.
