Yes but did she want this to be shared with a national, regional or even a campus wide audience? Honestly, the answer to that question is we'll never know. I don't know her intentions with this anymore than the next person so I will abstain from making callous statements about her and honestly, like I said before I was just talking about the "w****" and "slut" names thrown her way because that probably has everything to do with those posters seeing she slept with multiple men than the consequences that followed those named within the presentation.

 

I don't care who she wanted to share it with...she wanted to share it with someone. It's crappy. How can it be anything other than crappy, Lil Pun?

 

I agree with your general premise, but playing dumb in the digital age (her, not you) where people are constantly scrutinized, fired, not hired, commit suicide, or are potentially charged for manslaughter d/t a suicide, all for salacious media from racy pictures at a party to a sex tape is incomprehensible to me. She has to be aware of this. Do you expect me or anyone else to believe that the only thing she hasn't caught onto is the potential for things to go viral? I'm not buying that, regardless as to what her stated intentions are.

 

Why are you taking such a SwoLy-esque stand on this "issue"? On a Friday afternoon, no less.

Of course it is crappy. But it makes her look a lot worse than any of the guys she talks about.

 

I don't think that she or anybody else in this age fails to realize that things can and do go viral but what I think is that people have the "It can't/won't happen to me" attitude and then the next thing you know it does. Do I think something like this will ever happen to me? Not really. Would I be surprised if it did? Initially yes but then I'd probably come to my senses.

That's what I don't get, though. Gen X and Gen Y have grown up with tech, and tech has grown up with us. We know the power of technology, or so I would think. Evidently, this isn't the case if this girl is telling the truth.

I dunno. Seems common sense to me. But this stuff keeps happening, so I guess I'm wrong.

 

I doubt she cares to be honest.

 

I'm not really defending her, just saying I am abstaining from judgement.
