I love Mack Brown as a big time college program manager, but Bob Stoops is the better x's and o's guy and he is the tougher disciplinarian

Thank you. I think Stoops does a great job keeping the program image up. The guy says all the right things and throws the hammer down on knuckle heads from what I've seen. I think internally OU is a very well run org.

What a game last night Miami vs FSU, probably the best game of week 1. Entertaining from start to finish. Jacory Harris is a superstar QB in the making, he is truly a great pocket passer with tremendous touch and accuracy on the deep ball. As the night began, I thought he was another scrambling type Mike Vike clones (Terrell Pryor), you see them poping up everywhere these days. But to my amazement, Harris is a pass only QB with the ability to run but not the desire or need. Heck the FSU QB Ponder was the bigger running threat who was excellent as well but came just short of the awesome comeback. Poor clock management with 45 secs to go at 5 yard line is inexcusable. Take a spike and then you have 3 plays to punch it in to the endzone. That would have given them enough time to run an option or sweep and try to get the first down at the 2 yard line. Blown oppurtunity by FSU and Bobby Bowden deserves the blame for not managing the clock. Now as good as the QB play was last night, the most impressive player is by far Craig Cooper who I think is going to be a big time player. He has tremendous ability to run the ball as a RB or punt returner where he is looking like another Devin Hester in the making. There were a few plays where this guy was brilliant when he stopped, juked and cut back to elude defenders. Reminded me of Reggie Bush and his ability to stop, shed a defender, change direction and then put it into the extra gear to run lights out. This Miami team is going to be really good this year, watch out Sooner fans you could be looking at 2 losses before even playing in the Red River Shootout. :D
