Very good Thursday night game . Always interesting with a SEC and a Big 12 Matchup. Auburn has one of the toughest schedules in the country.
Not much going on in the Big12. It's going to be a rough couple of weeks for SMU. Aggies and TCU next week....
Mind-boggling how many times K-State has shot themselves in the foot. Auburn was unimpressive. KSU could be winning this game if they didn't make silly mistakes in the red zone and in the kicking game.
Kansas State has zero penalties. Zero. Absurd. Auburn hasn't played their best, but they've hung tough in a road Thursday night game.
http://espn.go.com/college-football...-snyder-accuses-auburn-tigers-signal-stealing Kansas State switched up its offensive signals Thursday night because coach Bill Snyder believed Auburn was stealing signs. "They're getting our signals," Snyder told ESPN sideline reporter Samantha Ponder, adding that the Wildcats changed up some of their signals during halftime. Auburn coach Gus Malzahn denied any first-half advantage after the game, which the Tigers won 20-14. "No, no," he said when asked if Auburn knew the signals. Florida State coach Jimbo Fisher made the same claims against Auburn after January's BCS National Championship Game win, as the Seminoles reportedly used towels to block some of their signals.
I'm not sure I understand the complaint. Isn't part of the reason that teams use complicated signals so that the other team can't figure out what they are doing? That seems to pre-suppose that the other team is going to be trying to figure out what you are doing. Baseball teams complain about the same nonsense.
K State is one of the best coached teams in the country. They played great defense, so you gotta give them credit. Auburn is still a top team. They beat a Top 20 team on the road. I can never complain about that.
