UH will not make a BCS bowl even if undefeated. Ain't gonna happen as much as most of us would like them too. They don't travel at all, Conference USA, etc, etc...

Sadly thats probably true. Looks like UH gets to play might Vanderbilt in the Liberty Bowl if they win out on the season. *barf*
Based on the BCS rules, if they are in the Top 12 of BCS rankings, or at least ahead of one of the other automatic qualifies (which they are ahead of all Big East Teams) at the end of the season, and no other non-BCS team is ranked ahead of them, they get an automatic bid. Essentially, they need Boise St. to lose and fall behind them in the BCS rankings.
Yeah exactly. I know there was a rule of some kind. It'll be all up to the voters/computers. It would be interesting though to see that.

As a VT fan how is Virginia Tech ranked 1 spot higher than Clemson when Clemson beat Virginia Tech and they both have the same amount of losses. Not to mention Virginia Tech is coming off of a 14-10 pathetic win against Duke.

If Boise loses and we go undefeated, we're obligated to go to a BCS bowl. We brought 22K to Fort Worth 3 times, and about 27K to Memphis... so I think at something like the Fiesta we'd manage at least 30-35K. I have no doubt we could put 40K in the Sugar Bowl (I mean really, how many Houstonians could you imagine would drive to New Orleans for that... hells yeah).
