Man Andrew Luck is SO NFL-ready. The guy has all the tools to be the #1 QB in the league. Wow. I switched the channel when the game was 20-10 SC, and now it's 24-20 Stanford. Barkley has much better offensive weapons and can't do jack. This guy needs to stay another year.
Barkley definitely isn't coming back. He's got a rocket arm and is accurate enough to be a 1st round draft choice. Plus, USC is on probation. After starting 3 years, there isn't much left for him in college. I think he's progressed nicely. It isn't really fair to compare him with Luck.
I know this is way too premature, but would it be far-fetched to think Luck wouldn't have a great chance at being a top 5 QB next year? This guy is ridiculous. His game's IQ, ability to control a game like Manning, pocket presence, and ability to maneuver around pressure and still throw bullets are just amazing.
Really think it depends on where he ends up. St. Louis may be a good fit, but they still have O-Line issues despite using many picks to fix them, plus consistent injuries to Jackson and receivers. Indy would be good if Peyton coaches him up. No faith in the coaching staff given how they handled QB situation this year. Minnesota, Miami, and Arizona could all eat him and cause more problems. Minnesota probably best fit of those because of Peterson balancing the offense, but no receivers. I think Seattle would be really good landing spot for him, but they will probably win too many games to draft him.
Great damn game! Luck is going to be a Pro Bowler for many years to come once Manning retires/is traded.
What was Shaw thinking with that call on 3rd and 9. Direct snap to a running back when you have Luck as QB???
St. Louis is terrible. I don't blame Bradford for struggling as he has. And the Rams should give Bradford a chance. It would suck if Indy picks Luck b/c he might not play for another 3 years. The guy is ready to play and contribute now. I think Minny and Seattle would be the best scenario. Putting him with AP is great, b/c now AP has a legit QB to play with. And a dominant running game would relieve a lot of pressure off of Luck. And Carrol is a good QB's coach, so Luck would also flourish there. Anyways, SC-Stanford's ending is going to be awesome. Great primetime game.
Man apparently only Les Miles and Nick Saban can teach college players how to tackle? I don't know about firing Fickell. You had to know this would be a bad year with suspensions and handling of Tressel. If they lose to both Penn St. and Michigan, that makes them 6-6 at seasons end. Maybe then, otherwise I think they keep him. Can't think of any big name coaches available at end of this season right now.
why did Texas, A&M, Tech, and all other Texas schools pass on him??? he went to Cali because he got no in state football scholarships
