USC must have a particular problem tackling tiny running backs (you know what I mean). Coach Kelly does seem to be very gifted on the offensive side of the ball. What amazes me is the UO offense was a machine. Not once during the game did they lose momentum.

I'll say again that watching games in Autzen is great. That is a seriously festive crowd.

Well Florida or Alabama may have something to say about that. Not sure USC losing proves your point.

Haha didn't Tech win by over 30 points on you last year? The A&M game we were horrible came in overconfident after dominating Nebraska and beating Kansas State by around 50 after Kansas State beat A&M around 50. Its not like your team dominated A&M by any stretch of the imagination winning 36-31. Like I said only if Sheffield is back I expect to beat your team in two weeks, right now the 2 quarterbacks we have going are terrible in Potts and Doege. Its hard to say your defense does well when your offense gives up two touchdowns. Even with a down Tech it will probably still finish better than your Ponies.

I think he was referring to the complete domination by Texas tonight.

No fans of any school in the southwest have any right to talk trash to any school except for Texas or TCU (man do they look impressive this year, wish we had a chance to play them.)

    Still lol.

We are still more talented than you guys on offense and on defense (do you guys even have any four star players on defense?), even without Dez & Hunter, and our starting middle LB out for the season.

I will say that we are STILL not ready for the "big time." We are still too young and not as deep as we would like.

(we're still deeper than Tech though)

OU held Texas to 269 yards on offense.

We held Texas to 279 yards on offense.

That's something we can atleast hold our heads on.

How does recruiting matter? Being a Tech fan/student we know we don't recruit well but we usually get the most out of the talent we have. As for your comparrison in talent I guess we will find out in two weeks which is the 3rd-4th best in team in the big 12. Our defense played pretty well today against Todd Reesing but who knows which defense will show up. I am not overlyconfident we will beat you in two weeks but I expect it to happen if Sheffield is playing. Without Dez your receivers play pretty poorly as shown today, with credit to Texas' great secondary.

Kansas's offensive line SUCKS and that is the only reason you guys managed to do well. OU exposed it in a big way.

I WILL agree that you guys get the most out of your guys on defense than anyone else (like Brandon Williams). If we can do that , then realistically we wouldn't be in the bottom half in sacks and pass defense for the last 4-5 years.

....McCoy played almost the entire game and we still held you guys under 100 yards rushing

We played pretty well enough, atleast to give us a chance to win, but our offense just screwed up.

    Good game.

3/4 = most of the game. :p Your running game didn't really do that much.
I'm just trying to say that we held you guys under 300 yards. That's pretty average by your guys' standard so that has to be pretty good right?

As for our offense.........yes we are not quite as explosive without our STARTING, ALL AMERICAN running back and wide receiver, but what would you expect?!? But Zac's poor indecisions tonight cost us the game. No excuses for that.

Like I said we will see in two weeks. I am not saying Tech's is good by any means the way they played last week was the worst I have seen any team play we got burned on the same 4 plays all game.

osu's defense didn't suck or anything, but thanks to the pick 6's and the other INT returned to the 25, we only ran 56 plays tonight versus 80 plays in the ou game. and we weren't really trying on any of the 4th quarter plays we did run tonight.

OU has a way more tenacious D than OSU. Those two teams, at this point, are pretty even matched and that game will be worth watching.

I'm just glad that Texas won and won very convincingly. Offense didn't put up a lot of yardage and scores but thankfully we didn't need to. It's been a while since I'm this confident about our defense.
