Horrible horrible horrible refereeing so far. Texas is good enough as it is (defense is a bit overrated though-no offense Texas fans ) . We can't have stupid calls going against us.
UO is just better than USC. If it weren't for the fumble, you guys would be up by 14 or 21 points. USC's defense isn't good enough for a national champion. USC better keep controlling the time of possession or they will get blown out. I didn't realize Masoli was this good.
Three? I see what you mean about the forward progress play on Kirkendoll, but what other two calls were horrible? Good first half for Texas, other than the Shipley brainfart not calling for fair catch. He hates doing that, though. Loss of Aaron Williams is hurting Texas, but maybe he'll be back in 3rd qtr. OSU O-line is playing really well, by the way. Very impressed.
That early phantom call against Lucien Antoine in the beginning set the tone The "late hit" on McCoy when the defender just barely touched him And that fumble which wasn't even reviewed.
The Lucien call- it's debatable, and a judgment call for sure on the whole "defenseless player" rule. The late hit was a pretty solid call- the D-lineman hit Colt in the head with his arm, which is typically a no no. Like the defenseless player rule, it seems to be enforced more this year. I know what you mean about the fumble- if it was called forward progress, then they can't review it. But I think it was clearly a fumble by Kirkendoll. So, I'll give you the one very bad call, but the other two are at least debatable. Not like we are watching Iowa-Indiana or Florida- Arky thus far, in my opinion.
There have only been two questionable calls in my opinion the fumble obviously, I also thought the personal foul when the receiver missed and the OSU player shoulder tackled the guy trying to catch the ball was crap too.
Ball game if Tech has Sheffield for the OSU game I expect Tech to win in Stillwater in a couple of weeks. That said Texas is really coming together and have dominated OSU today their defense is the real deal.
Asian Sensation, I have a question: Why didn't I notice how good Masoli was when I saw him against Purdue? This guy is amazing. I also can't figure out if Oregon's offensive scheme is just that great or is USC's defense just that bad. One punt by UO in the first 3 quarters.
LaMichael James. The emergence of James and giving the Ducks a running game has opened things up for Masoli in an incredible way. Masoli was spectacular towards the end of last year as well when we had a nice running game with Blount/Jeremiah Johnson. Oregon's offense IS THAT GREAT. We have a chance to hang 50+ on USC. Unbelievable. Lots of credit to the coaches as well. Especially defensive coordinator Nick Alioti. We lost our stud CB Walter III and haven't missed a beat. And Chip Kelly is an offensive genius.
LOL Texas Tech fans are funny. We atleast held Colt to under 200 yards passing while you guys got whipped by A&M. As for the Texas defense comment.........yeah I'll admit I jumped the gun a little bit. But lets not forget that people said the same thing about your run D last year only to have Hunter and Toston run it up on you guys. But obviously this year is different because your secondary is a lot better too. I think the only positive we can take from this loss is that our defense played pretty well and gave us every chance on offense but alas the TURNOVERS..........and that STUPID call on that fumble. But other than that........good game!
Tech fans, especially when they're in rebuilding mode, should NEVER EVER EVER talk trash. Go back to your desert dwellings
