But the BCS title game isn't played until January. If UT stays on a roll and takes their "A" game to Pasadena, they have a good chance.
Oregon wasn't even favored over USC. I think Oregon's a great team, and they could very well beat UT, but they wouldn't be favored in that game. The pollsters only have them at #8 after that beatdown. And while it's true that they have a loss, USC did as well (against a mediocre team) and was ranked above a bunch of of those undefeateds.
i don't care if they'd be favored or not. the Ducks would be lucky to score 2 TD's. the defense is too much...and it makes the offense more than enough.
yep...that's why i said right now. because teams change it seems through the season. but right now...from what i've seen...texas is the best team in the country. i don't think you need to be a fan to see that.
USC is a paper tiger this year....Oregon is good but they are not in the elite level.... You don't get spanked by Boise state and claim to be a real contender. DD
Former #1 recruit Darrel Scott has just announced he is leaving Colorado, and most likely headed to UCLA
So are you saying there are only 3 elite teams? FL, TX and AL? Who is elite? The Boise State game was a long time ago- team dealing with new coach, new O-Line- head case RB- lots has changed since then. Ouside a FL-TX game, I think an OR-TX game or OR-FL game would be extremely entertaining. Watching the TX defense against the OR offense would be fun.
Figured this thread would make as much sense as any... check out this guy's Tim Tebow Halloween costume. Absolutely awesome. Spoiler
there was a "text from last night" that said "i'm going as tim tebow for halloween. if i don't get laid, i can just say i'm staying in character".
yeah. the Boise loss was a combo of things. Oregon played a very good team, on their home turf and got caught off guard. Maybe if oregon played some creampuff the first game, demolished them, then they would be on the "elite level". Oregon is very, very good. I don't know what teams could be considered "elite" this year. UT, FL, AL have not been so dominating that they are unbeatable by any means.
