Disgraceful effort by UT. They should be ashamed of themselves. This more than negates the positives from last week's win. They've actually opened up a big can of quit in front of the home crowd. I don't think the fans are booing because they are stunned and just realized UT is going to lose the game. The boos will start after the next pathetic play.
MSU gets it done when they have to. What a drive. Cousins was in control the entire time. He's really progressed since last year.
I love that our first play when we got the ball back needing two scores was a sideways pass for 2 yards or so. The rest of the season shapes up pretty interesting. FAU should be a win, so that puts Texas at 5. But none of the others are guarantees - @KSU, Baylor, OkieState, and A&M. If Texas plays like this, they could easily lose the first three of those. Texas vs A&M on Thanksgiving could be Panic Bowl 2 to see who makes a bowl game.
Our defense is too good to allow any team to score 40+, but if our offense can't stay on the field and turns the ball over... you never know.
Best thing to hope for with this team is the Alamo bowl... should be a good game next week in Austin against Baylor.
Texas' season to date: -Get blasted by a team that will probably be 7th at best in the Pac-10 -Lose the Red River Rivalry -Come back and dominate Nebraska in Lincoln -Show up too late against an Iowa State team that got pasted 52-0 by OU the week before In the end, this UT team will either be 8-4 or 7-5. Let's see if they do the QB by committee route from here on out, because this season is basically a wash.
