I think Malzahn has already proven that he can come up with a game plan for Alabama. In last year's game, he out-coached Bama for sure, but we just didn't have the horses to finish the game. I'm not promising an AU win, but if I was a Bama fan, I wouldn't be too confident this year.

    Out-coached?.....

AU had some lucky trick plays that gave them the lead.

    We'll see soon enough.

Oregon, Auburn, TCU, Boise St, MSU, Wisconsin are still in front if they win out.

We play Auburn....who will be ranked 1 or 2 when we play them....which will put us infront of TCU, Utah, Boise st.

We're ranked 6th right now...we still play a highly ranked LSU team....and whoever we play in the SEC championship.

....and we are the defending champs.

And Texas is Texas. You lost to the Game Cocks, so unless we see another 2007 season, you are not getting into the bowl game. Wisconsin beat a #1 Ohio State, but you do not see anyone claiming if they win out they'll be in the NC game. MSU probably will be in the NC game though, and god forbid that they win.

Upsettingly so. Ohio State can steam roll through their season, and we will not even win our conference.

Wisconsin might be an invite to a BCS, and MSU will get the Rose Bowl. Ohio State will not play MSU, so MSU could win out. If MSU wins out, they are the sole Big Ten Champion. If MSU loses one, then who knows.

Three Big Ten teams will not make the BCS bowls.

Bama has the name and the SEC glow to it though. If they beat LSU, Auburn, Miss State, and the SEC championship game (esp if it is against the Gamecocks again, but more likely Florida), they will be jump ahead of all 1 loss teams and TCU for sure. I can see them jumping Boise St., but it would really depend on the voters.

The best two teams from the state of Texas are TCU and Baylor. Congratulations to both programs.

Who does Missouri, Michigan State, Oregon, Boise State and TCU lose to for Bama to make it the NC game?
