Idiots... I only see one guy wearing a seat belt. What could go wrong when you have a bunch of guys geeked up on estrogen and a driver performing for the camera? Seriously though, not wearing seat belts is uncool, stupid, and really selfish.
I don't understand why a lot of "experts" are picking Missouri in pulling up the upset today. Yes it is Missouri's homecoming game but their offense is pathetic and hard to watch. I see Texas winning this game by at least 2-3 scores. I can see Texas possibly losing the following week against Ok State in Stillwater but not this week. Wish I could watch the TCU-BYU game but will be at the Tech-A&M game.
Gabbert isn't really that good. Missouri's defense is below average. Their offense is average without Maclin or Daniels. Texas should win this just as easily as last year.
What did Griese say about Juan Montoya that he had to apologize for at the end of the Ohio State game? Edit: Ah. The taco comment.
Man Nebraska's offense has been terrible today. They're about to lose to Iowa St because I think they've turned it over 6 times today.
That UConn-WVU was a good game. Was pretty exciting to the end. I feel bad for the UConn players after what happened last week, but WVU did what they had to do and won the game. After game it was more of a somber tone as everyone knelt down and prayed for the UConn player.
Is "homecoming" meaningful in any way in college? If so, why in the hell would they pick Texas as their homecoming game? Shouldn't you pick one that you should win?
I don't consider it a big deal at all. But thats what people from espn were saying for a reason to be fired up and stuff.
Can someone explain to me again why the media jumped all over Alabama's jock this past week? Is it only because Texas and Florida played poorly last weekend? I suspect so. Alabama only has two offensive touchdowns in their past three games. They have a championship-caliber defense and running game, but their QB play leaves a lot to be desired.
The more I watch the SEC the more I am convinced that their defenses are largely a product of inept offenses.
Say what you want about Texas offense, but the #1 team in the country should be able to score a single Touchdown against an unranked team at home.
It's a little bit of both. SEC defenses are littered with NFL-caliber players, but their offenses aren't anything special this year. It's very similar to last year's Big 12. Amazing offenses, no doubt, but their defenses sucked which made already great offenses look all-world.
