I know Major, and that is one of my biggest beefs.....if they are both undefeated, and there are other one loss teams then they should be in.... I want a playoff and the more schools b****ing the better chance of that happening. DD
That's what sucks about the BCS system. If a second big 12 team or ****ing notre dame or an ACC team goes over an undefeated (once again, cart before the horse) TCU team, I will be so pissed
I must have just entered Bizzaro Clutchfans, didn't you say.... Are you drunk? High? What?... Oh who cares..... I just want fairness from the committees...I want to see Alabama and Florida drop due to lackluster performances.....just like they did to UT. DD
Really? Come on... I posted why I said that... It was merely to counter what Longhorn fan said... "Repped." I was just being ignored on the fact in which I pointed out that it wouldn't matter who is what right now.. because the national championship game will decide who the real best really is.
Hmm DD... would you like me to go back into the rep thread back in March when rep started... and just snatch out all those posts about you opposing this system. You just seem to love this system now... begging for rep in the GARM all the time...
Feel free, my thoughts have not changed in the slightest......maybe if you go back you will be able to comprehend what my main concerns were..... Hint hint....consequences..... You should just stick to begging for rep, it seems to be working out well for you.... Hey, maybe Alabama and Florida have been begging the voters for rep......that could be it. EUREKA ....when you begged for rep, you stumbled upon the answer......way to go.... DD
I agree - and what makes it worse is that the loser of the BSU vs. TCU discussion ends up in a relatively crappy bowl. It's one thing if they at least could get another nice non-BCS bowl, but I think it's like the Armed Forces Bowl or some other silly bowl. I *think* TCU will end up ahead in the computers (Oregon losing to USC and Clemson doing well would really help). The key for TCU will be getting close to Boise in the polls. It doesn't matter the actual ranking - TCU just needs to be at least just in the spot behind Boise at worst. If they are two spots behind Boise, I don't think they can catch them with the computers. Iowa, Cinci, USC all either need to jump Boise or fall behind TCU between now and the end of the year.
I'm sure DD.. I'm sure. EDIT: now that you added that part.. I want to see what the **** you're talking about. It's working out well for me?
LOL - clearly it is not working out well for you, thus the joke.... Now stop whining about rep.....and begging for it....you should be better than that. You are nailing it...and honestly that sucks......TCU, Boise, Iowa, Cincy, should all be in consideration. What do those schools have to play for if they have a perfect season and can't get an opportunity to play for a championship? Say it with me....PLAYOFF....PLAYOFF !!! DD
Yup... it's a crap deal. I doubt we jump more than one spot and Boise won... EDIT: and I agree, DD...there should be a playoff, but then people will be arguing about why such and such team deserves the 8th and final seed over 9,10 or 11 (it's so hard to justifiably quantify who is better at that point)...but it would be better At least they could get rid of the whole BCS conference bull**** and just base it on BCS rankings...
I've asked for rep before besides this time.... where I clearly explained that I wasn't actually ASKING for rep? Look who's the hypocrite now.
Great game by the horns, I don't care where we are ranked in the polls, 1 2 or 3, just keep getting W's and Texas is in the national championship game. I am worried about next week at Oklahoma state, will be flying up for the game Friday night, should be a fun time. Anyone else going? Hook em
Excellent point....I am sure the BCS voters would agree ! No need to worry, Texas has that game, they have the eye on the prize, and if Houston can beat OKS, UT can too. DD
Embarrassed to be a Tech fan that wasted my time going to tonights game. Nice job Texas and TCU with winning handily on the road.
