YOU HAVE NONE EITHER. YOUR GARBAGE ABOUT THE POINT MARGIN GOES OUT THE WINDOW BECAUSE YOU CAN'T COMPARE IT LIKE THAT. *******.... how hard is that to understand?
Repped. Good to see someone who understands the game. Who cares about rankings right now. We win out, we go the the Rose Bowl. Our defense looks fantastic, our offense can only get better. Our running game is finally showing promise, but I'm SICK TO DEATH of those line of scrimmage throws to the WR's that gain maybe 3 yards. We need more RB screens. Next week scares me a little bit. I cannot lie.
Do you think TCU and Boise can both crash the BCS party? I think they are both deserving....heck.....all undefeateds are deserving...even Cincy. This year could SCREW the BCS big time....if 2 or more undefeateds get left out.... DD
Yeah, DaDa, I'm sorry, I think it's fairly clear that Alabama has played the toughest schedule out of those three. That has a lot to do with why their margin of victory is the slimmest. There's really not much comparison in the quality of the schedules when it comes to Bama vs. Florida and Texas.
Great so you admit you had no proof......thanks. All 3 have questionable teams on their schedule and Ok is probably better than any team the others have played...even VTech.....at least equal to them. I am not buying anything about the SEC they are very overated.....especially this year. DD
I sure did... I said earlier.. I'm basically basing it on what I've seen.. which is my opinion. You have no proof either. Nobody can have proof... because there is no proof... you can't compare any of those teams the way you did.... so you admit you have none either then. Thanks.
lol DD and IMF arguing is what I would imagine what a Rich Lord and John Lopez show would sound like...
No, you said: And then posted their schedules showing some mythical consitency, which I then showed that actually Texas has been the most consistent and has the number 1 scoring offense in the country and the number 1 rushing defense. Yet somehow, in your world...the other teams have been more consistent. Stop listening to the talking heads at ESPN and think for yourself. It is not homerism...(well maybe a little) it is simple facts. And then begging for rep.....come on.....earn it.... DD
That's a tough question. I mean, we play in the Mountain West, however we did beat two ACC teams on the road (albeit Virginia and Clemson) and we beat BYU, but they might have just been lucky beating OU, so who knows? I think if we beat ranked Utah and win out we deserve a shot at a BCS game...not the national championship or anything, but a shot at a BCS team. Our defense is as big and fast as any team's in the country, but I don't know how our offense would fare against a BCS caliber school...but it would be great to find out. However, we still have to win out to even be considered, so I'm putting the cart before the horse. Also, don't really want to get into the major thread argument, but it only seems fair that if Texas got bumped due to not winning by a large margin, Florida should be punished as well. But in the end, if UT wins out it doesn't really even matter, does it? They will still be in the big dance...
It's basically impossible for both Boise and TCU to crash the BCS. The BCS is only required to take one of them, and there's no marketing reason to take the other one. But they will be required to take the higher ranked of the two, so the rankings and the computers will matter. You'll have 10 BCS teams: 6 Conference Winners Boise or TCU SEC Runner Up and then two of: 2nd team from the B12, Pac10, ACC, BigEast, or B10; Notre Dame if they run the table (I think - I don't remember the requirements for them.)
I agree with all that, just hate the arrogance of people saying other teams have been more consistent....when the facts say the opposite. As for TCU...I really hope you guys crash the party....I love it when the big college Presidents have to explain why good schools are omitted due to ...uh.......uh......really......Money... The only way it will be fixed is by Congress IMHO...I want a playoff dang it. DD
I'm not saying who is #1. But your "facts" are stupid. It's ridiculous that you'd even try to use that as the basis of your argument as to who is better or more consistent. You totally and completely ignore that UT has played three bad non conference teams while Florida and Alabama have only played two. For you to gently brush this off along with the fact that Alabama has clearly played the toughest of the three schedules is a joke, just like your "facts." Of course UT's average winning margin is going to be higher when their non conference is Louisana Monroe, UTEP, and Wyoming as compared to substituting one of them for Virginia Tech at a neutral site. I don't care who is #1 or more consistent but your "facts" are a joke.
Yes, I did say they were consistent... I was basing that on my opinion. You were begging for proof.... so I posted the schedules to show the ranks of the teams played. Obviously you can't really look at that way.. I realized that... so that proof goes to the trash... YOUR proof also goes in the trash... What does ESPN have to do with anything here? It's MY OPINION... I don't know how many times I've said that now. I'm not listening to anyone or anything to base my opinion, just what I see with my eyes. That post wasn't begging for rep. I could give two ****s about rep... I just wanted to take credit for what I had said numerous times but was for some reason ignored. You on the other hand were against rep when it first started... but now you've turned the tables now haven't you... lovin' that rep..... I've never asked or begged for rep on here.. hell I don't deserve any of my rep points except for maybe a few for helping some people out with issues they might have had with troubleshooting... I've gotten meaningless rep from all kinds of posters.. for whatever reason...
