College Football Week 7

Gators looking ugggghhhgly. Three freakin' fumbles, giving up a few critical huge plays, miserable. And Brandon Spikes is out.

 

I agree that OU might have done better if their best player, Gresham, had been healthy.

 

I'd expect Florida to take several shots and challenge Arkansas deep in the 2nd half of their game.

 

Up 24-3 at half Sheffield still playing well, while defense is getting a lot of pressure on their Qb. Don't know how good Nebraska's offense is but their defense is pretty fast and athletic. Tech needs to stay aggressive to pull off the upset in Lincoln. Win here might get us ranked next week.

 

I hear all this crap about how the Leach Spread offense takes 2 years for a QB to learn, yet Sheffield seems to be doing pretty well.

 

Not sure how long it takes to learn, but he is a jr.

 

Would it be better for UT if Florida loses?

a lot of times, broken tackles are just a defender that didn't have much of a shot, but that arkansas rb #33 just straight ran through 4 guys on that play. 2 stiff arms and then just plowed over the last guy. pretty impressive run.

florida makes a 51 yd fg, arkansas misses a 39 yd fg, and then forgets to play defense, and now florida has the lead.


and mallet misses a WIDE OPEN guy in the endzone which would have given them the lead back. maybe that's why they keep running the ball (on top of the fact these arkansas receivers don't catch anything not in between their numbers.

 

I don't see how this can be anything but a touchdown for Arkansas.

 

How can that be Pass Interference? I know the whole not playing the ball crap but darn.

 

Arkansas just got hosed on back to back calls.

 

Wow, of course the refs just march Florida down the field with two horrible penalty calls. That's just sickening.

 

wow, #96 on arkansas just owns a florida lineman who was coming to make a cheap block 30 yards from the play and they throw a flag on the arkansas guy!! next play, TD florida. this after a bogus pass interference call. officials trying to keep the conference's pride in tact apparently.

 

Refs gave Florida that TD.

I hate when teams play not to lose...3rd down and 4 and you rush the ball???

Of course you miss the field goal, play not to lose and you LOSE!
