DD... it's not just the play calling... you have to credit this OU defense... they're covering and pressuring at all angles... and part of it is also McCoy just pure sucking.
Probably not but it did lead to Potts getting a concussion. But we will find out later on today if our backup Sheffield is better than Potts so could have been a blessing is disguise. Its not like Tech was out of the game I think they were down by a score, and scored pretty easily in the 2nd half. I already said they would have probably lost but I just found it funny they called that a high hit and not the other one.
Not true at all, OK is situationally blitzing, and Greg Davis is not helping with his crap play calling. Run the ball, or attack the middle deep on first down.....right now everything is short and in front and on the sides, that is great when you are playing an opponent that can not match your speed. Right now, Greg Davis is screwing McCoy and the team up with his crap play calling... THE MIDDLE is the key.... DD
is it the year 2000 again? our o-line is atrocious, greg davis is calling plays with his head up his ass, and our qb looks scared to death, and ou's D seems like they're in our huddle. this has been beyond atrocious. the offense isn't just doing nothing, it is actively hurting the D over and over again.
Please Texas....attack the middle of the field......not the sides...the middle...... And.....Run the danged ball... DD
I am expecting a statement like..."if you spend 15 minutes with McCoy/Shipley you are a better person for it" coming very shortly

Even when the o-line is giving McCoy time, McCoy is making awful passes. He's thrown about 3 near INTs so far.

DD, you're blaming playcalling but OU's defense isn't giving them time to do anything. It may be that they are calling good plays but OU is taking stuff away from them. McCoy is also sucking, independently from everything else.

Brooks.......how do you take pressure off of a blitzing team? When they overcommit to the Blitz....you screen pass, you slant, you draw play.....they are bringing pressure off the edge. It is football 101. Anyone who has ever played the game should know this......it is simple simple simple. DD
Does OU have more upper classmen then UT? They just look bigger, stronger and faster in almost every facet of the game.
