The Buffs don't have enough offense to keep up down the stretch. I wouldn't be surprised it Texas still wins by 20+
A tipped ball isn't colt's fault. In 07, he was throwing direct pics. **** happens. Hook 'Em. I feel bad. Not a lot of people on so this has become a Horns thread.
There is the Cody Hawkins we are all used to. **** you Cody!!!! Your ass would be out on the curb if your dad wasn't the damn coach. Terrible ****ing throw.
I said it in the UH/MISS ST thread, if you limit turnovers and win the penalty battle it almost always results in a win. Texas is far better then Colorado so turnovers are keeping the Buffs close. As I type this 92 yrd INT Return by UT...Turnovers Turnovers Turnovers
yep, typical, I would expect nothing less. And his dad deciding to red shirt the backup so there would be no controversy over his son starting. When Cody was benched at the end of last season, the offense was much better.
His dad is the head coach, that is why he is the starter. Everyone knows it's a complete joke. The guy is garbage
I hope they don't. I wouldn't wish this job on someone I like as much as him. Firing Hawkins really is not even being discussed much because it will cost the school too much to fire him. It's a joke. He should have been out on his ass after last season. I have never seen a coach playing his son at quarterback at this level of football.
i was about to say the same. i dont remember ever seeing it happen. isnt hawkins record something like 14-28 since being at colorado?
For those who didn't see because of the UT game, the Florida "TD" came when their receiver blatantly grabbed the LSU corner by the jersey, nearly pulled him to the ground, then left him in the dust... no call. Plain as day (and blatant) on the replay. Would be a travesty if Florida wins this game by 7 or less. I know I'm in the minority on this, but I wouldn't mind opening up instant replay to cover some judgment calls such as pass interference. Sometimes an official can get out of position, for whatever reason (I didn't see where he was on that play), and miss it. In that circumstance, a blatantly illegal move directly led to the scoring of a TD, it was caught plain as day for the world to see... and nobody can do anything about it. I don't like it.
