Ugh. Hard to see us puling this one out with the young OL and without Bradford, Gresham, AND Broyles. Good god, it's like rooting for the Rockets...
I don't mean to slobber over Jacory Harris all year, but not too many QBs would have the head to go 13/15 with 3 TDs and 0 INTs after throwing the 2 early INTs.
Out for the game with a shoulder injury. Took him for x-rays, but don't know exactly how bad it is yet.
OU's punter flops more than the Jazz. I still remember those terrible calls in last year's Red River Shootout.
Leech did learn from him. Stoops always thinks he can do that kind of crap. Like when he went for it 4th and 1 against Florida early on. You can get away with that in the Big 12. But not against conferences where they actually play some defense.
I have to say, I'm proud of my team for fighting though. Sucks that that's the best compliment I can give my two favorite teams... but eh, injures. Everyone here knows how it goes.
I don't think I have ever seen a team run so many times on third down in a game like OU did in this game. They really shot themselves in the foot with some of the poorest offensive playcalling I have seen in a while.
Conference season barely started and it's already going to be up to the Texas Longhorns to make the conference look respectable. Glad to see OU's MNC hopes are already crushed. They're still undefeated in conference, but a three-way tie won't help them this year.
Everyone worth throwing to or at least drawing defensive attention for other guys in those situations was hurt. Pornstache Jones isn't an all world QB capable of throwing the ball in tight spots to guys that can't get open. Broyles was his one safety blanket and when he went down, the writing was just about on the wall. This is like complaining about the Rockets not running more isos for Battier and post ups for Chuck Hayes. Can't call passes for a bunch of guys that can't get it done.
Is Texas losing to OU and @ OSU? I guess it's possible, but not likely. OU looks pretty beatable. Amazing what happens when you're not playing Idaho St. and Tulsa. OSU lost a lot of credibility losing at home to UH, who now doesn't look so great.
