The only reason I'm not worried is because Mack has been known to make good adjustments at halftime when the offense does struggle.... they really need to score here though before half time to gain some momentum back.
Texas has 3 problems right now. 1. Fozzy Whitakker is horrible, he runs too fast, has no patience and can't break a tackle 2. Garret Gilbert is too raw, he holds the ball too long and has ZERO touch, all his passes are on a line and too low, sometimes you need to put some air under it....his passes are easy to defense by undercutting the receiver. 3. Greg Davis is a p***y play caller, he needs to open it up.....that pass on 4th and 3 where they throw it behind the line of scrimmage ...DISGRACEFUL. Texas is dominating UCLA at the line of scrimmage and losing by 10. Gilbert with 3 turnovers himself....pathetic. DD
Texas doesn't look like a top ten team, but UCLA is better than people think; they look like a very talented team that is trying to find themselves. They need a new QB, Prince is awful. UCLA's offensive line is huge and is wearing down the UT defense.
Don't know if I buy that one, the UCLA offensive line is starting to assert itself. They are crazy big. If UCLA had an effective QB, they would be ahead by 20+. They have had multiple scoring opportunities.
The only scoring chances they have had are on Texas turnovers......they have 2 decent runs and most stops at the line of scrimmage. Texas just needs to get moving.....Tre Newton is the answer, but I think he got a concussion last week. Fozzy Whittaker just sucks balls...he can't run in the middle, doesn't make cuts, and can't break takles.....the holes are there, but he has zero vision. DD
