    College Football is so unpredictable.

I laughed when I saw Stanford favored over Washington, so I took Washington on my ticket. :(

JINXED?: Sports Illustrated had four regional covers for its college football preview edition. All four featured teams -- Penn State, Oregon, Oklahoma State and Mississippi -- have lost in the first four weeks of the season.

For anyone who hasn't seen, Robert Griffin is done for the year with a torn ACL (he actually finished the half after tearing it). :( Really sorry to all the Baylor fans here... he's a stud and I love, love, love watching him play. He's miles ahead of Pryor, in terms of the "next VY" comparisons. Sucks.

I've seen him play and I'm most definitely not a Baylor fan, but this is very sad news. Griffin is indeed a stud and a pleasure to watch.

I've been noticing this happen a lot more over the past couple years. I see people being influenced by the media, and hear them making the same arguments media pundits make, without any critical thinking on their own part. I'll often call them out on their viewpoint and ask them to explain further but they just look at me dumbfounded because they haven't thought about things deeper than what they've seen/heard on tv.

Really applies to a lot of things, not just sports.
